For more than two decades, Michelle's work has centered on one mission: guiding individuals and professionals through the financial realities of divorce with clarity, forensic insight, and compassion. She owns and operates multiple divorce-focused financial companies—including Divorce Dollars and Sense, Simply Numbers Corporation, and Divorce Financial Coaching—alongside my wealth-management practice, Turning Point Financial Group. Michelle's expertise blends financial planning, business valuation, lifestyle and income analysis, and forensic investigation, allowing her to support clients, attorneys, and interdisciplinary teams in even the most complex cases. As a CDFA®, CVA, MAFF, CFDS, CBDA, mediator, and collaborative-trained professional, Michelle brings a uniquely comprehensive financial lens to the divorce process, whether working as a neutral, assisting counsel, or coaching an individual client. Her practice emphasizes uncovering true income, identifying hidden assets, guiding settlement strategy, and helping clients make informed financial decisions that support long-term stability. Michelle is an active educator and national presenter, delivering programs for NACVA, IDFA, BVR Resources, the Association of Divorce Financial Planners, and numerous professional conferences. Her recent work includes presentations such as Exploring the Narcissist’s Playbook of Financial Games, Look Under the Covers: Finding Hidden Assets and Income, and SIDS: Sudden Income Deficit Syndrome in Small-Business Owners.
outhern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE), B.A. in business with a specialization in finance. Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® (CDFA, 2012), Certified Financial Divorce Specialist (CFDS), Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA, 2018), Master Analyst in Financial Forensics (MAFF, 2015), and the CBDA digital-asset credential (2025). Collaborative practice empowers families to dissolve a marriage without destroying their emotional or financial stability. As a financial neutral, I believe in creating a transparent, respectful environment where every voice is heard, every concern is addressed, and every decision is informed. Collaborative divorce allows us to replace fear with clarity, conflict with cooperation, and uncertainty with a plan for the future. It is the most human-centered approach to restructuring a family, and I am honored to support clients through it.
